Does the Sentry Tournament of Champions Have a Cut?

No, the Sentry TOC is a four-day, 72-hole stroke play tournament that does not have a 36-hole cut. The likely reason there is no cut at the TOC is because the field is set by invite only contingent on qualifying by either your FedEx Cup Rankings or by securing a win in the previous season

Who Won the Sentry Tournament of Champions in  2022?

In 2022, Cameron Smith secured the win at the Sentry Tournament of Champions to kick start a stellar season. After the victory at Kapalua, he went on to win The Players Championship and The Open Championship, all while making a switch to the LIV Golf tour. Because of his decision to join LIV Golf, Cameron Smith will not be in the field to defend his title.

Other past champions:

  • Sentry TOC 2021: Harris English
  • Sentry TOC 2020: Justin Thomas
  • Sentry TOC 2019: Xander Schaufele
  • Sentry TOC 2018: Dustin Johnson
